ActiveSki and Snowboard Instructor

Dreaming of working outdoors in the snow, meeting people from all over the world and sharing your passion for skiing every day? Norefjell Ski School is now looking for seasonal instructors from December to April!
As an instructor with us, you will play an important role in our guests’ experience – whether it’s children putting on skis for the very first time or adults looking to develop their skills. You will help create confidence, a sense of achievement and, most importantly, a love of skiing on the slopes.

As an instructor with us, you will play an important role in our guests’ experience – whether it’s children putting on skis for the very first time or adults looking to develop their skills. You will help create confidence, a sense of achievement and, most importantly, a love of skiing on the slopes.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and conduct ski and snowboard lessons, both group and private
- Adapt lessons to the guests’ level, age and individual needs
- Create a safe, positive and enjoyable learning environment for all guests
- Ensure safety on the slopes and follow applicable procedures
- Contribute to activities and events, including activities with our mascot
- Work closely with the ski rental and ski shop teams
Qualifications:
- Instructor certification (Level 1 or equivalent) – or relevant experience
- Positive, outgoing and enjoy working with people
- Comfortable taking responsibility and working independently
- Good communication skills in a Scandinavian language and English
- A genuine passion for working with children and young people
